Virtuedesktop: we hardly knew you
Long ago I outlined the coolness of a little utility called VirtueDesktops. This cool little app provided the benefits of the forthcoming os 10.5 ‘spaces’ feature.
VirtueDesktops’ author has recently decided not to complete the program. The program has been in development since last year and was closing in on a stable version. After attending last year’s WWDC (world wide developer conference), he has finally decided to give up.
This may have been motivated by the buz that indicates that Mac OS 10.5 will be shipping this June (knock on wood).
